Sarah Szirtes is General Counsel for HealthCall. She has more than sixteen years’ experience in executive leadership and is the principle legal advisor to the company. Ms. Szirtes is responsible for organizational development as well as policy and procedure development and associated regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining HealthCall, Ms. Szirtes practiced in the areas of commercial litigation and health care litigation at the law firm of Clark Hill PLC. Ms. Szirtes also served as an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University College of Law from 2009-2014. She is admitted to practice in Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Outside of HealthCall, Ms. Szirtes has served as a volunteer Voter Protection Attorney in Wayne County since 2007, and she has continued her graduate education in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Ms. Szirtes earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law, where she was a Merit Scholar. During law school, Ms. Szirtes was an instructor in the Writing Skills Workshop component of the Research, Writing and Advocacy Program, a member of the Trial Practice Institute, and an intern for the Michigan Court of Appeals. She also earned American Jurisprudence awards in Research & Writing, Religion & Education Law, Pretrial Practice, and Labor Law. While in law school, Ms. Szirtes was an associate editor of The Journal of Medicine & Law and a member of the American Inns of Court. Ms. Szirtes earned her B.A., summa cum laude, from the Honors College, College of Education, and College of Arts & Letters at Michigan State University. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and recipient of the Jeffrey and Kathryn Cole International Study Award (Birkbeck, University of London), where she completed studies in theatre and the literature of Virginia Woolf.

Before attending law school, Ms. Szirtes was an Education Coordinator for American Red Cross, Blood Services. She was also a teaching Fellow with Chicago Public Schools.
